The duck inhabits a border. It floats between two worlds: the world of the visible, of the tranquil surface, and the world of the unfathomable, of dark depths where the eye can no longer penetrate. On the surface, all seems calm. But beneath the water lie invisible currents, thick silences, buried mysteries. And the duck dives. It suddenly disappears into the murky waters, as if driven by an irrepressible need to see what eludes us. Where we remain at the threshold, it crosses. Guardian of a silent knowledge, it becomes a ferryman between the known and the inaccessible, between what reassures and what unsettles.
