Adamas

The Adamas collection draws its inspiration from Greek mythology, where adamas refers to the unconquerable and the incorruptible—the legendary substance that would later give its name to the diamond. These luminous sculptures explore the meeting point between strength and transparency, where the permanence of metal encounters the ever-changing nature of light. Each glass sphere is mouth-blown and meticulously hand-cut, revealing a multitude of facets that capture, refract and animate the light. The brass structure remains deliberately understated, allowing the glass to express its full depth, as though light itself had crystallized within the material. Entirely handcrafted, every piece is unique. Subtle variations in the blowing and cutting processes give each Adamas its own singular presence, where exceptional craftsmanship becomes inseparable from the work itself.

La collection Adamas puise son inspiration dans la mythologie grecque, où adamas désigne l'indomptable, l'incorruptible, cette matière si précieuse qu'elle donnera plus tard son nom au diamant. Les sculptures lumineuses explorent cette rencontre entre la force et la transparence, entre la permanence du métal et la vibration de la lumière. Chaque sphère de verre est soufflée à la bouche puis minutieusement taillée à la main, révélant une multitude de facettes qui captent, diffractent et animent la lumière. Le laiton dessine une structure sobre qui laisse le verre exprimer toute sa profondeur, comme si la lumière se trouvait cristallisée au cœur de la matière. Réalisée entièrement à la main, chaque pièce est unique. Les variations du soufflage et de la taille confèrent à chaque Adamas une présence singulière, où le savoir-faire artisanal devient indissociable de l'œuvre elle-même.
